Calendar - Event Details - Ongoing Event Info

If you are not yet involved with the SCA but would like to attend any of the listed events, we'd be happy to see you. You might want to read the notes for newcomers first. Information on this page is abbreviated; for full event details, contact the person listed or check FTT.

This calendar lists non-private events of interest to SCA participants in Southron Gaard regardless of whether or not they are officially sponsored by the Barony of Southron Gaard or any other group.

Ongoing Event Details

• Council Meetings
  Southron Gaard: 7:30 pm, second Tuesday of the month at Waimairi Road Community Centre, 166 Waimairi Road (just before Maidstone Road when going north). All welcome -- you don't need to be an officer to attend or speak.
  Reannag Fhara: Defunct
• UCMRS A & S Meetings: Wednesdays during term time, 7:30pm, Lower Common Room, UCSA, Ilam Rd. Some activities may also take place during university holidays.
• Fighters' Practices: These have now moved to under the oaks, Wednesdays, possibly from around 6:30pm
• Archery Practices are held at 2:00pm on Sunday afternoons at Kirkwood Intermediate, Kirkwood Avenue, opposite the university Rec Centre car park. Contact Alexander for details. Targets and some spare bows will be available every fine Sunday (ie, no rain actually falling at 2:00 pm). We stay from 2:00 until 3:00 if the weather is overcast, but if the weather is sunny, we continue until sundown, or until people wish to finish.
• Seamsters' Guild, third Tuesday of each second month, contact Madelein for details.
• Dance Practice, Wednesdays, ballroom, UCSA building, 7:45-9:00 pm. All dancers and would-be dancers welcome. For details, contact Edward.
