Affiliations

Over the past dozen years, SPIS has been actively involved in a number of professional organizations aimed at encouraging better services and standards in the IT sector.

SPIS personnel have served on the leadership team of the Canterbury Software cluster since its formation in 2001, and the company continues to contribute to the cluster's efforts to assist the region's IT sector to succeed locally, nationally and internationally. SPIS is responsible for managing Canterbury Software's Website, which acts as a centrepiece for the incorporated society's networking and communication focus.

SPIS was a founder member of Web Designers of New Zealand, an industry support group involved in developing and promulgating professional, high quality Web standards. SPIS was also a founder member of the New Zealand Software Exporters Association and the Internet Service Providers Association of New Zealand.
